Veneto is one of Italy’s most beautiful regions, home to cities filled with history, culture, and special cuisine. But did you know that this stunning area is also a golfer’s paradise?
The region has over 27 golf clubs for all kinds of players, some of which are best-rated. Each one of them is designed to fit different players’ skills and styles.
So, if you love this sport or simply want to learn how to play, you’re at the right place.
In this blog post, we’ve shared a list of the top 12 golf courses in Veneto to keep in mind for your next trip.
Let’s get started!
Golf Club Ca Amata
If you thought you couldn’t romanticize playing golf, you were wrong! Golf Club Ca’ Amata is the real proof of that.
Set on the grounds of the beautiful and romantic 18th-century Villa Ca’ Amata, from which it takes its name, this golf club is definitely a special one. Due to the amount of water available in the area, a lake and canal system run through the course, making the game a bit more challenging and fun.
The course is flat, suitable for a relaxed day of play, but with enough difficulty to keep things interesting.
And let’s not forget about the beautiful surroundings right in the middle of nature! What a dream it is!
The clubhouse is located in an old farmhouse, which adds the perfect amount of cosiness to the atmosphere. After your game, you can try some traditional Veneto dishes at the club’s restaurant, which is open to both members and visitors.

Golf della Montecchia is a fantastic destination for golfers looking for a well-rounded experience near Padua. This course has 27 holes spread across three courses. The terrain is flat, but it has some well-placed water obstacles to make the play more difficult.
What I find super cool is that you can play here at any time, all year round! Their innovative drainage system makes it possible to play even in bad weather conditions. Also, their 9-hole green course is pet-friendly, so keep that in mind if you want to take your little friend with you.
The club has excellent practice facilities, that include a driving range so you can warm up before hitting the course.
And after your round, you can relax at the clubhouse or treat yourself to a meal at the on-site Michelin-starred Ristorante La Montecchia, which serves fantastic local dishes.

Over the years, the course has hosted prestigious tournaments like the Italian Open and the Italian Amateur Championships.
The course is set between the Adriatic Sea and the Venice Lagoon on Lido di Venezia. It stretches over 6,039 meters, and due to its position, the winds from the coast can add a fun challenge to the game.
